It is my opinion that an individual is born an artist; to be possessed with a certain detachment, a tendency to observe the world as if under a bell jar, to see the world in metaphors.
Empathy and aesthetic perception, curiosity and passion; are all innate in an artist. Then there is the drive for human expression. There is little choice or compunction in the artist’s need to create. However, on the contrary, one chooses a career.
CommissionMy work tends to be figurative and realistic. The accurate representation of the human form still holds currency. Nuance in gestures and composition give the work its vitality and voice.
The interaction of man and nature, the human drama of urban life, the individuality and beauty of the human form; all serve as my inspiration. My art continues to evolve as I continue to mature as a human being and as an artist.
